Yael Stein was born in Australian and lives in New York City since 2013 She played Lorna Morrello on Orange Is the New Black. Yael graduated from NIDA. Yael, despite her young age, has been given the opportunity to learn from Australia's most renowned storytellers. Yael is an internationally acclaimed actor across Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael discovered her new place of residence with the city of New York City when the production premiered to acclaim on The Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). Yael was co-founder of The Cannery. In The Cannery, a Bushwick Brooklyn studio, they support new creative writings and encourage innovative concepts.
