Shay Mitchell

Shay Mitchell hails from Canada and is an actress, model, businesswoman. Her most famous work is her character Emily Fields in the Freeform show Pretty Little Liars. Shay Lo became a popular name for Jennifer Lopez Mitchell fans. Her interest in performing arts began in childhood. She spoke to her family members about the possibility of pursuing a career in the field. After exceling at modeling and dance, she wanted to try her hand at acting, and took acting lessons in Toronto. Mitchell made a few guest appearances on television series and commercials before she got the break of her life. Her role was as Emily Fields in Pretty Little Liars as Emily Fields. Critics and fans both praised her for her talent. She then went on to create a name for herself on the screen, by starring in films like Dreamland, Mother's Day and The Possession of Hannah Grace. The role she played in the psychological thriller series You it garnered her with greater recognition. Apart from acting Shay Mitchell has also ventured into writing. She wrote an adult novel titled Bliss with Michaela Blaney.
